Terms of Service
By using VideoGrab you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and readable.

What VideoGrab is
VideoGrab is a free tool that lets you save videos, audio, thumbnails, subtitles, tags and clips from links you provide. It's offered as-is, mainly for personal use. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.
Acceptable use
Use VideoGrab only for:
- Videos you created or otherwise own the rights to;
- Videos published under a Creative Commons or public-domain licence, within the terms of that licence;
- Videos you have explicit permission from the rights holder to download.
You are responsible for the links you submit and for what you do with anything you save. If you are unsure whether a video falls into one of the categories above, do not download it.
Prohibited use
You may not use VideoGrab to:
- Infringe copyright — saving, republishing, redistributing or monetising content you do not have the right to use;
- Circumvent DRM or technical protection measures, or attempt to access content behind a paywall, login or geographic restriction you are not entitled to;
- Violate a source platform's Terms of Service — those terms continue to apply to you and nothing here overrides them;
- Distribute malware or submit links intended to harm other users or our systems;
- Scrape at high volume, or use automated tools, scripts or bots to make bulk requests;
- Attempt to overload, attack, probe or disrupt the service, or bypass its rate limits or human-verification checks;
- Resell, rebrand or commercially redistribute access to the service;
- Do anything illegal, or anything that harasses or harms others.
Respect creators & copyright
Videos, thumbnails, subtitles and other content belong to their original creators or owners. Downloading something doesn't give you the right to republish, redistribute or monetise it. When in doubt, ask the creator for permission and follow the source platform's own Terms of Service. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, see our DMCA & Copyright Policy.
Termination
We may restrict or block access to the service at any time, without notice, if we believe these terms have been breached — including in response to a substantiated copyright complaint, abusive traffic, or attempts to circumvent our limits. Because the service has no accounts, restrictions are applied at the network level. Repeat infringers are blocked permanently, as described in our DMCA policy.
Availability
We work to keep VideoGrab fast and available, but we can't promise it will be online or error-free at all times. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.
No warranty
VideoGrab is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that every link will work or that a download will always succeed — the source platform ultimately controls what's available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, VideoGrab and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service — including how you use content you save with it. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service, which is zero.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VideoGrab and its operators from any claim, demand, loss or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of anyone else's rights. In plain terms: if you use VideoGrab to download something you had no right to, the consequences are yours, not ours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the operator of VideoGrab is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from your use of the service will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply in full.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continuing to use VideoGrab after a change means you accept the updated version, shown by the "last updated" date above.
